Glycan Group was founded in 1996 by Christian Daniel ASSOUN, a bio-physician.
Our Group consists of several medium sized companies in Switzerland, Spain and the USA.
Our companies contain pharmacists, doctors and healthcare professionals. Our Group has close contractual links with other research laboratories working in the bio-medical, manufacturing or university sectors.
Glycan Group benefits internationally from the support of economic, legal and financial consultancies.
Our Group, under the leadership of its founder, Prof. Dr. ASSOUN, has focused its applied research and some patents on the field of preventive, pharmaceutical, genomic and proteomic medicine and, recently, on bioenvironmental protection with the TERMINATOR project.
Since1996, our foodstuffs raw material production unit in Spain has been supplying the slimming and pharmaceutical industries with numerous organic and semi-organic mineral products ranging from calcium tri-phosphate to colloidal organic silicon.
This led to the Group deciding to broaden its range for healthcare professionals with a range of Glycan Group products, especially Organic Colloidal Silicon and all its derivatives for oral or external uses.
Glycan Group manufactures all its products using raw materials from identifiable and legal sources in the EC and USA.
As part of our bio-medical and manufacturing strategy, GLYCANMETAL, GLYCAN PHARMA Switzerland S.A. and NEUTRAL METAL S.A. are developing the following major projects:
1 – Biomedical field (clinical analyses)
2 – Manufacturing field
Glycan Group has been developing Plasma Technologies (High Temperature Chemistry) for a number of years based on specialist work by its founder, Prof. Dr. ASSOUN, former scientific and technical adviser to NASA (JPL – Pasadena).
We develop plasma tools that can solve physico-chemical problems that conventional methods could not solve.
Our technologies and research are currently applied in the following sectors:
This project, which is currently being implemented, will be fitted to numerous European and American incinerators during 2006 and 2007.
